The Savage 13 is a very versatile fishing rod! I have a couple of them and enjoy being able to use the various lengths for different situations. I used the 16 and 18 ft lengths to bring in a 2 person limit of Shelbyville crappie! The Savage has become my go to rod!

I ordered a Savage rod on 07/31/25. It arrived on 08/08/25 and was damaged in shipping, the container had a 90 degree bend in it. I contacted Matt and a replacement was sent out immediately. Today I received it, 08/18/25, and although the USPS can’t seem to get them here without the container damaged, the rod is in great shape. If this rod is as good as their customer service I can’t wait to scope them slabs with it. Thanks again Matt and 3 pound fishing.
